A captivating, deeply tactile exploration of romantic symbolism, raw fabric manipulation, and architectural contrast. Measuring an elegant 10" x 10" square, this original mixed-media artwork balances an intimate scale with a striking contemporary edge, making it an exceptional standalone accent or part of a modular wall grid.

The composition features a prominent, centrally sculpted heart—representing the deep, tender bonds of affection—created by hand-layering and draping raw textile fibers directly onto the canvas. Saturated in fine plaster and casting gesso, the fabric permanently preserves fluid, organic textile folds, ripples, and sweeping creases. This soft, fabric-sculpted heart floats over a heavily distressed, grunge plaster background filled with organic pits, chiseled cracks, and weathered masonry textures. Styled entirely in our signature monochromatic palette of soft chalk, luminous alabaster, and mineral nudes, this specific piece utilizes our premier mixed-finish concept: selected elements are preserved in an ultra-matte, velvety glaze, while others are flooded in a high-gloss, crystal-clear liquid resin. This intentional contrast allows the light to catch the fluid fabric folds while casting deep, moody room shadows within the rough, grunged plaster background.

Surface Properties:  Premium mixed-texture surface (alternating distressed ultra-matte background and high-gloss liquid resin layers over structural fabric). Fully sealed and UV-protected.

Art Care:  Low maintenance. Gently dust the rough, matte plaster sections using a clean, dry, ultra-soft makeup brush or painters brush. The glossy resin sections can be wiped clean with a slightly damp microfiber cloth. Do not use harsh chemical sprays.

Framing:  Unframed with raw, clean-finished edges. Arrives ready to hang or style beautifully as a freestanding object on a mantle, desk, or floating shelf.
